ESTABLISHED IN 1983 TO NOW
Envisioning a better planet through better business.
Long before “Green” became a trendy economic buzzword, Dennis Denton had a vision. He believed it was possible to help the environment and businesses thrive by promoting strong sustainable business principles. Driven by this vision, he founded Denton Plastics In 1983 in Portland, Oregon. 
A local company takes root.
Shortly thereafter, Dennis and his colleagues began harvesting the urban forest, excavating plastic materials from the scrap bins and warehouses of industrial plants, schools, and businesses. This commitment to innovation and expertise gave new life to materials that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, and nurtured new ideas in plastics recycling.

I began this company in 1983 with a vision to be environmentally conscious and take recycled plastic to a mainstream commodity. It became a win – win situation and a necessity for both our vendors and our customers. We continually improve upon this vision to utilize recycled plastics in new ways to fit our customers’ needs and save the environment for generations to come.
